MUSCATINE, Iowa - The City of Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department is trimming trees in parks throughout Muscatine and will have some logs that are suitable for firewood. A system has been developed so that citizens who reside within Muscatine city limits will be allowed to pick up the wood on a first come, first serve basis.
In order to become eligible to pick up the wood you will need to get your name on the call list. To be placed on the call list, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department's Park Maintenance Office at 563-263-5464. If you are unable to reach someone please leave a message stating your name, address, and phone number.
Once it is your turn and wood is available you will get a phone call letting you know when and where you may pick up the wood.
