MUSCATINE, Iowa – A basketball clinic for girls in the first through sixth grades will be offered by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department this fall with registration now open, Girls Basketball Clinic participants will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball through ball handling, shooting, and defensive techniques from trained Parks and Recreation staff.
The clinic will be held on Saturday mornings at McKinley School Gymnasium, October 27 through November 17. Three age divisions will be offered with first and second grade participants starting at 9:00 a.m., third and fourth graders at 10:00 a.m., and fifth and sixth graders at 11:00 a.m.
Registrations are being taken now with a $30.00 fee for Muscatine residents and a $35.00 fee for non-residents. All participants will receive a tee-shirt.
