MUSCATINE, Iowa - The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a Muskie Punt, Pass and Kick competition starting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28, on Diamond 12 at Kent Stein Park.
Muskie Punt, Pass & Kick is a skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of six (6) and 15 who compete separately against their peers. Girls and boys in five separate age divisions (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing, and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum.
The Muskie Punt, Pass and Kick program is free to every youngster who wants to participate.
Those who would like to compete may register in person at the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department office in the lower level of City Hall (215 Sycamore), or by phone at 563-263-0241.
Registration is free but the deadline is Monday, August 27, so punt, pass, or kick your way to the registration site of your choice and reserve your spot in this fun competition today.
