[ARCHIVED] Muscatine Police make arrest in Sunday stabbing incident

MUSCATINE, Iowa – A Muscatine woman was treated for non-life threatening injuries Sunday (July 29) following a disturbance at the intersection of 2nd and Parmalee streets.


Muscatine police responded to the intersection at 7:49 a.m. Sunday where they found Karen Douglas Gardner, 58, who had been stabbed during a physical fight. Gardner was transported to UnityPoint-Trinity Muscatine by the Muscatine Fire Department Ambulance where she was treated.


Bradley Toney, 25, was arrested Monday (July 30) following an investigation by the Muscatine Police Department on charges of domestic assault (2nd offense) and assault. Both charges are aggravated misdemeanors.


The above listed individual is considered innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
