[ARCHIVED] Public meeting on Grandview Avenue set for July 19

MUSCATINE, Iowa – The second public meeting on the upcoming Grandview Avenue Corridor Revitalization Project (GACRP) will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, in the Musser Public Library & HNI Community Center, 408 E. 2nd Street, Muscatine.


The City of Muscatine project management team along with other City staff members will host the event. Representatives from Bolton & Menk, who are engineering the project, will also be on hand to answer questions and listen to feedback from residents.


All residents and business owners along the route are invited to attend along with any other interested individuals.


The GACRP is expected to be placed for bidding later this year with work completed in two phases. The first phase will be completed in 2019 and include work from Orange to the U.S. 61 bypass. The second phase will be completed in 2020 and include work from Orange to Main Street.


The first public meeting was held on Feb. 8, 2018.
