[ARCHIVED] Three streets to be affected by construction work this week

ROAD CLOSED

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Three streets in Muscatine will be impacted by construction work for the rest of this week.

Woodlawn Avenue will be closed to traffic this Thursday and Friday (July 12-13) as Broder’s Excavating will be making repairs to a private sewer line on Woodlawn Avenue between the sections of Orange Street on either side of Woodlawn.

Mulberry Avenue from 11th Street to Maple will be reduced to one lane of traffic as the Department of Public Works seals cracks on Thursday (July 12). Only the westbound lane will be closed this week while work on the eastbound lane is tentatively scheduled for next week.

The 300 block of West 2nd Street will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday and Thursday (July 11-12) as the sewer crew works to repair a hole in the street.

Please use caution when travelling in these areas and use an alternate route around the work areas if possible.
