[ARCHIVED] Registration open for 2018 Lohman City Golf Tournament

Muscatine Municipal Golf Course

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Registration is now open for the 2018 George Lohman Muscatine City Golf Tournament that will be held June 9-10, 2018, at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course. This year’s tournament will have an Open Division (age 49 and under), Senior Division (age 50-64), Super Senior (age 65 and above), and a Ladies Division.

Interested golfers may schedule their June 9 tee time through the Pro Shop at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course or by calling the Pro Shop at (563) 263-4735. Tee Times for June 10 will be made by the Pro Shop staff following the completion of the first round.

Registration is limited to residents of the City of Muscatine, residents of Muscatine County, and Muscatine Municipal Golf Course Season Pass holders.

Entry fee for this year’s tournament is $40 per person. Greens fees and golf cart fees are an additional charge. The entry fee includes the prize fund, tee prizes, meal on Saturday, and Awards for first, second, and third places in respective divisions and flights.

An Optional Skins games will be $5 per person for both Saturday and Sunday’s rounds.


Hole prizes will be given away on both days for all 18 holes along with long drive contests and closest to the pin competitions.  At the conclusion of Saturday’s round there will be a long drive contest for the Open Division, Senior Division, Super Senior Division, and Ladies.  There will also be a chipping contest held on the practice green throughout the day on Saturday.

At the conclusion of play on Sunday, all closest to the pin winners from Saturday and Sunday will be eligible to participate in a closest to the pin competition on Hole 18.
