MUSCATINE, Iowa – There will be a tail-waggin’ good time at Weed Park this Saturday, October 4, as It Takes A Village Animal Rescue and Resources hosts its annual Fall Pet Festival. The event will be held in the green space of the upper loop area, with activities planned from 12:00–6:00 p.m.
Festival-goers can enjoy food, competitions, games, crafts, and live demonstrations throughout the afternoon.
To accommodate the event, Middle Road through Weed Park will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday. Park Drive will remain open to traffic, but parking is only permitted on the right side of Park Drive in both the upper and lower loops.
The City of Muscatine reminds residents that Weed Park will remain open to the public throughout the day. Visitors not attending the festival are welcome to enjoy all other areas of the park as usual.
