MUSCATINE, Iowa – Beginning Wednesday, September 3, 2025, 160th Street will be closed to all traffic for a construction project that includes replacing a reinforced concrete box culvert and completing roadway grading.
The closure will affect the stretch of 160th Street between Iron City Avenue and Kelly Avenue (X46). Work is expected to take approximately two to three months, with the schedule dependent on weather conditions.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes during the closure. Detour signage will be posted in advance of the work zone to help drivers navigate around the construction area. Local access for residents within the closure area will be maintained when possible.
