[ARCHIVED] Traffic pattern returns to normal on Logan and Climer streets

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Traffic patterns are returning to normal as the final sections of work in Phase 5 of the West Hill Sewer Separation Project near completion.

Lucas Street is now open to through traffic as is the Lucas intersections with Fletcher Avenue and Climer Street. The Knott Street intersection remains closed with repaving of Knott scheduled to be completed on Friday, Nov. 3, weather permitting.

The three temporary Stop signs at the intersection of Climer and Logan streets were removed by the Department of Public Works Thursday (Nov. 2) afternoon with the traffic pattern returned to normal now that the Climer intersection is open at Lucas.

Climer Street has returned to a one-way from Logan to Lucas.

Logan Street resumes being a through street at the Climer intersection.

Climer will have one permanent Stop sign at Logan for westbound traffic.

Remaining work for Phase 5 includes sidewalks, courtesy sidewalks, backfilling, and seeding along with punch list items.
