[ARCHIVED] Turkey Trot

The 2013 Muscatine “Turkey Trot” Fun Run/Walk will be held Saturday, November 16th at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course. The event will be hosted by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department and the Muscatine Running Club. The format that the race will follow is to “Predict Your Time”. No participant will be allowed to use any kind of a timing device. The participants will compete against each other for the closest predicted time. This will be recognized as either plus or minus. No splits will be given.

The cross country course will be set up at the Municipal Golf Course. Two different starting times will take place for the races. Participants 14 and under will run a one (1) mile course that will begin at 10:00am and the participants who are 15 and older will run a three mile course starting at 10:30am. We will be giving awards out in each age division for male and female participants who most closely predict their time. There will be frozen turkeys awarded to each of the winners in their respective division. Only one (1) turkey can be won per family.
