[ARCHIVED] Baseball Pitching Clinic

The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Winter Youth Baseball Pitching Clinic for boys ages 8-14. The pitching clinic is a great way for the youth of Muscatine to learn the basic fundamentals and mechanics of pitching a baseball across the plate.

The clinic will be held at Muscatine High School in the upper gymnasium. The program is designed so that each participant will be involved in one group lesson (up to 30 students) and four semi-private lessons (2 students).

The group lessons will be at the following time:

February 2, 2011 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The semi-private lessons will be held on Wednesdays between 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm in the weeks following the group lessons. Each student will attend 4 semi-private lessons. Students will sign up for the semi-private lesson times after their group lesson.

The instructor for the clinic will be Tyson Foglesong. The registration fee is $45.00. The deadline for registration will be Tuesday, February 1 at 5:00 pm.
