The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting Football Skills Clinics for all interested boys and girls in Kindergarten through 4th Grade.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of flag football through fun instructional drills and informal scrimmages. All classes meet at Kent-Stein Park on Diamond #3. Parks and Recreation Department staff will lead this instructional program for four weeks.
Kindergarten Football Skills will be held on Mondays, September 9, 16, 23 and 30. 1st and 2nd Grade Football Skills will be held on Wednesdays, September 11, 18, 25 and October 2. Participants can sign up for 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm or 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm clinics. The fee for the clinic is $20.00 for residents, $25.00 non-residents. All participants will receive a T-Shirt.
3rd and 4th Grade Football skills will be held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 10 through October 3. The class will meet from 6:00-7:00 pm. The fee for 3rd and 4th grade football skills is $30.00 for residents and $35.00 for non-residents. The fee includes a T-shirt and mouthpiece for each participant.
