MUSCATINE, Iowa – There will be plenty of fun programs and activities for area residents of all ages to enjoy and participate in throughout the 2021 summer months. The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department recently unveiled the slate of opportunities they are offering this summer with participant registration starting Tuesday (May 4).

After a year of restricted outdoor gatherings and activities, Parks and Recreation is planning a variety of programs that will rekindle that outdoor spirit of adventure in a safe and enjoyable way. From swim lessons and tee-ball to soccer camp and sand volleyball, there is an opportunity for individuals of any age to be active and engaged this summer.

Keep an eye out for the 2021 Summer Brochure at various businesses around Muscatine and check out the listings for a program that peaks your interest or fits your groove as we restart outdoor activities. The brochure is also available for viewing and for downloading (Acrobat Reader or similar program is required) on the Parks and Recreation page of the City of Muscatine website

Plan for all your favorite activities and conveniently register over the phone at (563) 263-0241, in the Parks and Recreation office located in the lower level of City Hall at 215 Sycamore Street, or online. Please be reminded that a $5.00 non-resident fee is assessed for registrants who live outside of Muscatine city limits.
