A Baseball Umpire Clinic is being offered by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department in April. The Umpire Clinic is designed to help parents/volunteers become more comfortable participating as an umpire for youth baseball games. Gain a general knowledge of information such as common baseball rules, how to position yourself to umpire in the field, and tips for working behind the plate.
The clinic will be held Wednesday, April 24 from 6-9 pm. Umpire certification is not available with this clinic. This is a FREE program, but pre-registration is required. Please register by Friday, April 19 at 5:00 pm.
