All boys in grades first through sixth are invited to participate in the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department’s Baseball Fundamentals Clinic. Learn the fundamentals of baseball through hitting, throwing, and fielding. Staff will lead the children in an instructional program once a week for four weeks.
It will be held at Central Middle School Gymnasium on Sunday afternoons – February 3, 10, 17 and 24. First and second grade will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Third and fourth grade will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Fifth and sixth grade will be from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Each participant will need to provide a glove and bat.
The registration fee for the clinic is $20.00 for residents and $25.00 for non-residents. All participants will receive a t-shirt.
