All boys in grades 1st through 8th are invited to participate in the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department’s Boys Basketball Clinic featuring former Hawkeye Brody Boyd. Brody and Parks and Recreation staff will lead the boys in an instructional program once a week for four weeks. Learn the fundamentals of basketball through ball handling, shooting, and defensive tactics. Registration is limited to 20 boys per age group.
The Boys Basketball Clinic will meet on Sunday afternoons, January 9, 16, 23, and 30 at the Central Middle School Gymnasium. 1-2 Grades will meet from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, 3-4 Grades from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, 5-6 Grades from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and 7-8 Grades from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The registration fee for the class is $25.00. Participants will receive a t-shirt.
