MUSCATINE, Iowa – A survival-of-the-fittest event will take place Saturday, August 15, 2020, on the sand volleyball courts at Weed Park in Muscatine as the Parks and Recreation Department hosts the Cast Away 4 v 4 Sand Volleyball Tournament.

The tournament is open to the first 10 teams to register and will provide adult coed teams the opportunity to compete for the top spot in a fun and unique survival-of-the-fittest event.

Round robin games will begin at 9:00 a.m. with tournament play to follow. The top two finishing teams in tournament play will receive prizes. A Cast Away survival kit will be awarded to the first place team, complete with themed t-shirts, everything you need to survive a plane crash on an uncharted island, and your very own Wilson volleyball companion. Second place will receive themed t-shirts.
