MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine Municipal Golf Course continues their series of summer contests into the month of July with a list of events that will appeal to golfers of any age and ability.


A Senior Two-Person Best Shot event will tee off at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15.  The event is open to all golfers 50 years of age and older. The entry fee for this event is $40 for season pass holders and $50 for non-season pass holders.  The fee will include lunch, the prize fund, and a golf cart.  Prizes will be paid out after the round is played and will be based on the number of participants in the event.


A One-Person Scramble will be held on Friday, July 17.  This event is open to all golfers with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m.  Season pass holders can participate for a $20 entry fee while non-season pass holders may enter for a $40 fee. The prize fund and lunch is included in the cost of this event, while carts may be rented for an additional fee.


The monthly Friday Night Par 3 contest with the One-Person Scramble event teeing off at 5 p.m. on July 24. The fee is $5 for season pass holders and $23 for non-season pass holders. Greens fee are covered in the event price, but carts are not included. Interested participants may register starting at 3:00 p.m. on the day of the event.
