The Muscatine Transfer Station is in the process of mailing out the Compost Sticker to residents of Muscatine and Fruitland who do not currently have one according to David Popp, Solid Waste Manager for the City of Muscatine. Stickers would normally be available for pickup at the Transfer Station, Public Works, or City Hall but these facilities are currently closed to the public in response to COVID-19 guidelines.

Residents requesting a sticker will be asked for their name, address, phone number, and make and model of the vehicle they will use to bring waste to the Compost Facility.

Only residents who currently have a Compost sticker will be allowed entry into the Compost Facility. The attendant will turn away drivers who not have a sticker at the present time as the attendant will not be accepting cash or payment by check from non-residents.
