[ARCHIVED] Taste of Muscatine Campfire Dinner

The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a “Taste of Muscatine” Campfire Dinner at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course to benefit youth recreation program scholarships.

The Campfire Dinner will take place on Saturday, February 18th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Join the Department and area restaurants as you progress through the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course to several bonfires. At each bonfire, a sponsoring restaurant will provide a sampling of one of their signature entrees, beverages or desserts. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the winter evening as you walk between stations.

The Campfire Dinner will begin and end at the Municipal Golf Course Clubhouse. The clubhouse will be used as a warming station. Cost for the event is $10 per person, and ages 5 and under are free. Stations will be placed roughly 100 yards apart. Maps will be available on site. Proceeds will benefit the Parks and Recreation Department Youth Scholarship Program, which will offer free and reduced program fees to youth in need.

Pre-registration is required. You may register at the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department in the lower level of City Hall, 215 Sycamore, by phone with credit card, or online at http://www.muscatineiowa.gov.
