MUSCATINE, Iowa – Administrative offices at Muscatine City Hall will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 25, for city staff to celebrate Christmas with their family and friends. City administrative offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26.
The Recycling Center and Transfer Station along with the Compost Facility will also be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
There will be no curbside refuse or yard waste collection on Tuesday, Dec. 24, or Wednesday, Dec. 25. Residents on the Tuesday route will have their refuse collected on Monday (Dec. 23), along with the normal Monday route. Refuse collection for the Wednesday route will be on Thursday, Dec. 26, along with the regular Thursday route.
There will be no curbside recycling collection on Wednesday, Dec. 25. Curbside recycling collection will run one day late with the Wednesday (Dec. 25) “B” Route collected on Thursday, Dec. 26; Thursday on Friday; and, Friday on Saturday.

MuscaBus will not operate on Tuesday, Dec. 24, or Wednesday, Dec. 25. The service will resume normal operational hours on Thursday, Dec. 26.
Muscatine Art Center will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 25. The Art Center will resume regular hours Thursday, Dec. 26.
Muscatine Municipal Golf Course will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25, and will resume regular hours Thursday (sunrise to sunset), weather permitting.
Muscatine Fire Department administrative offices closed on Tuesday (Dec. 24) and Wednesday (Dec. 25). Stations will be staffed.
Muscatine Police Department administrative offices closed on Tuesday (Dec. 24) and Wednesday (Dec. 25). Patrol and station masters on duty.
Musser Public Library and HNI Community Center will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25, and will resume regular hours Thursday, Dec. 26.
Parking will operate under weekend/holiday regulations.
Parks and Recreation administrative offices closed Tuesday (Dec. 24) and Wednesday (Dec. 25), with normal operations at most recreation centers.
Public Works administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday (Dec. 24) and Wednesday (Dec. 25).
Water and Resource Recovery Facility administrative offices closed Tuesday (Dec. 24) and Wednesday (Dec. 25).
