MUSCATINE, Iowa – The north half of the intersection at Lake Park Boulevard and 2nd Avenue and the north half of the intersection at Lake Park Boulevard and Grand Avenue will be closed to traffic starting on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019. Heuer Construction is replacing pavement at both locations as part of the Full Depth Patch Program.
Once the north side has been completed, Heuer Construction will close the south side of both intersections to continue replacing the pavement. The change-over is expected to occur on October 21 but that is weather dependent.
Both intersections will become three-way stops during the four weeks that the work is expected to take, weather permitting.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through construction areas and are urged to find alternate routes if possible.
