[ARCHIVED] Fall Tennis Lessons

The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting Fall Tennis Lessons for all interested boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade.

The Fall Tennis Lessons offer students more individualized instruction. Classes will consist of no more than 6 students at a time. Participants will learn the fundamentals of tennis through fun instruction and drills. Staff will lead the children in this instructional program once a week for four weeks.

It will be held at Mulberry Elementary School on Sunday afternoons. There will be two sessions with the first session being held October 23, 30, November 6, and 13. The second session will be November 20, December 4, 11, and 18. Kindergarten and first grade will be from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm. Second and third grade will be from 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm. Fourth and fifth grade will be from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm.

The registration fee for the clinic is $20.00.

Registration is limited. The registration deadline is Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 5:00 pm for the first session and Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 5:00 pm for the second session. You may register at the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department in the lower level of City Hall, 215 Sycamore, by phone with credit card, or online at http://www.muscatineiowa.gov.
