MUSCATINE, Iowa – Do you use firewood to stay cozy through the winter? The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department is currently trimming trees throughout the city’s park system and will have a limited number of logs available for firewood.
To distribute the wood fairly, a Woodcutter’s Call List has been established for residents who live within Muscatine city limits. Wood will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to those on the list.
Residents interested in being added to the call list should contact the Parks and Recreation Park Maintenance Office at 563-263-5464. If no one is available to take your call, please leave a message with your name, address, and phone number. When your turn comes and wood is available, you will receive a call with details on when and where you may pick it up.
