MUSCATINE, Iowa – Grand Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic from Monday, October 13, through Friday, October 17, between Ford Avenue and Lake Park Boulevard for a sanitary sewer replacement project. The closure was approved by the Muscatine City Council at their October 7 meeting.
Kline Sewer & Drain will be replacing the sanitary sewer service line to Burger King (2306 Park Avenue) during this time.
Detour will be to use Lake Park Boulevard to Park Avenue to Ford Avenue to Frontage Road.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and follow all posted traffic control signs for the safety of workers and drivers.
