MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual “Walk (or Ride) Through History” starting at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, at Greenwood Cemetery, 1814 Lucas Street. This family-friendly event is free and open to all ages.
Join this annual tradition as you explore Muscatine’s past. Knowledgeable tour guides will share fascinating stories about some of Greenwood Cemetery’s most intriguing and influential residents. All stories are historically accurate and presented in an engaging, entertaining manner.
The tour will take place rain or shine and lasts approximately one hour. MuscaBus will provide transportation to and from the cemetery, stopping at both the entrance and exit. To reserve a MuscaBus ride, contact the MuscaBus office at least one day in advance at (563) 263-8152. Walking tours do not require pre-registration.
