MUSCATINE, Iowa – The City of Muscatine announces that temporary parking and traffic restrictions will be in effect in Riverside Park on Sunday, September 7, 2025, to accommodate the Chad Smith Family Benefit Car Show.
The downriver boat launch and the adjacent parking lot near the Iowa Avenue entrance will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Vehicular access to Riverside Park will also be restricted from the Iowa Avenue entrance downriver to the basketball court parking lot during this time.
Individuals attending the event may access the park at Iowa Avenue, with available parking located upriver from the Iowa Avenue entrance or along Mississippi Drive.
The Chad Smith Family Benefit Car Show will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Riverside Park. The public is invited to attend.
