MUSCATINE, IOWA — Mark your calendars for a day full of free family fun at Deep Lakes Park! The Kids Zone at the Muscatine Triathlon will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., offering exciting games, activities, and giveaways for children of all ages.
The Kids Zone is completely free and open to the public, and there’s something for everyone! Children can enjoy three inflatable attractions, including a giant 65-foot obstacle course, a classic bounce house, and a fun inflatable slide. There’s also a chance to dunk local police officers and community leaders in the dunk tank!
Get ready for some friendly competition with treasure hunts on the beach using metal detectors, a sandcastle-building contest, and activities like football toss, disc golf, and physical challenges. Plus, there will be face painting, bubbles, beach toys, and more. Kids can cool off in the water while playing with beach balls and noodles in the designated swim area.
And don’t forget the prizes! Kids who participate in the activities will have chances to win fun rewards—just for joining in.
While all Kids Zone activities are free, families may want to bring cash for food trucks and shopping at the Triathlon Market.
