MUSCATINE, Iowa – The 800 block of Cedar Street, between 8th and 9th streets, will be closed to all traffic on Monday, July 14, to allow KE Flatworks, Inc. to mill the roadway surface. Parking will also be prohibited in this area during the work.
Traffic Detours:
- Southbound Cedar Street traffic will be detoured via Parham Street to Mulberry Avenue, then to 8th Street, and back to Cedar.
- Northbound Cedar Street traffic will follow a detour from 8th Street to Mulberry Avenue, to Parham Street, and return to Cedar.
Motorists are advised to use caution and follow posted detour signs. The City of Muscatine appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this temporary street closure.
