MUSCATINE, Iowa – The lower boat launch, parking lot, and the Iowa Avenue entrance to Riverside Park will be closed to all traffic Friday (Nov. 15) through Sunday (Nov. 17) for the It Takes A Village Pet Fall Festival. The Cedar Street entrance, Harbor Drive upriver of the Cedar Street entrance, and the upper boat launch will be open for public use.
The Kick-Off Party is scheduled from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday with food trucks, beer tent, and live music (featuring HomeBrewed). The Village Pet Olympics will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday with a full day of cat and dog competitive events and fun activities. Family Day is from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday.
