MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine City Council will listen to five presentations from City staff during their in-depth session Thursday (April 11). A discussion on sidewalk cost-sharing options will be followed by a discussion on the appointment, dismissal, and reporting structure for the Muscatine Fire Chief and Muscatine Police Chief.
Also on the agenda is a discussion on biogas utilization at the Water and Resource Recovery Facility, a discussion on communication protocols between elected officials, City department heads, and employees, and a discussion on right of way mowing and maintenance.

The Council meeting begins at 6 p.m. and the public is welcomed, and encouraged, to attend the session in person and participate in the public hearings or to speak during Communications from Citizens on topics that are not on the meeting agenda.
