MUSCATINE, Iowa – City of Muscatine offices will be closed on Monday (Dec. 25) and Tuesday (Dec. 26) for the Christmas holiday. All offices will reopen for regular hours on Wednesday (Dec. 27).
REFUSE COLLECTION UPDATE
The Muscatine Transfer Station will be closed on Monday and Tuesday (Dec. 25-26) for the Christmas holiday. The facility will resume regular hours of operation on Wednesday (Dec. 27). Transfer Station hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with the last load on the scale at 3:15 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. with the last load on the scale at 11:45 a.m.
There will be no bulky waste or yard waste collections Friday-Wednesday (Dec. 22-27).
There will be NO refuse collection on Monday and Tuesday (Dec. 25-26). Residents on the Monday route will have their refuse collected on Friday (Dec. 22), along with residents on the regular Friday route. Residents on the Tuesday route will have their refuse collected on Wednesday (Dec. 27), along with residents on the regular Wednesday route.
There will be NO curbside recycling collection on Monday (Dec. 25). Monday’s “A” route will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday’s route will be picked up Wednesday, Wednesday’s route on Thursday, Thursday’s route on Friday, and Friday’s route on Saturday.

The Musser Public Library and HNI Community Center will be closed on Monday and Tuesday (Dec. 25-26). The library will resume normal hours on Wednesday (Dec. 27). Normal hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m-2 p.m.; Sunday 12-4 p.m.).

ART CENTER CLOSED DECEMBER 24-26
The Muscatine Art Center will be closed Sunday through Tuesday (Dec. 24-26). The Art Center will resume normal hours of operation on Wednesday (Dec. 27). Normal hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 1-5 p.m.). The Art Center is normally closed to the public on Mondays.

The Muscatine Fire Department and Muscatine Police Department will be staffed, and the Department of Public Works will have staff on-call. For non-emergency issues during City office closures, please call 563-264-1550, Public Safety at 563-263-9922, or Public Works at 563-263-8933. In the case of an emergency, always call 911.
CLUBHOUSE, PRO SHOP HOURS AT GOLF COURSE
The Muscatine Municipal Golf Course is closed for the season. The Clubhouse and Pro Shop will be closed Friday (Dec. 23), Saturday (Dec. 24), and Sunday (Dec. 25). Holiday hours for the Clubhouse and Pro Shop are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Dec. 21 and Dec. 22, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 26, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 27, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Dec. 29 and 30, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on January 2.
