MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department is offering a non-competitive program to teach boys and girls ages four through seven the basic fundamentals of football. With the help of their parents, participants will have the opportunity to learn football skills from trained Parks and Recreation staff. Little Muskies Football is not a tackle football program.
Children ages four and five will play on Monday nights from 5:30 – 6:30 pm while children ages six and seven will play on Tuesday nights from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Little Muskies Football will be held at Kent Stein Park on Diamond #3 from September 12 through October 4.
Registration fees are $25.00 for Muscatine residents and $30.00 for non-residents, with a tee shirt included in the fee. Registration is currently ongoing through Tuesday, September 6.
