MUSCATINE, Iowa – Rural Health & Safety of Eastern Iowa has partnered with Mercy Iowa City to provide free COVID-19 testing at our mobile clinic for those who qualify. Leaders with Mercy Iowa City and Rural Health and Safety of Eastern Iowa say this service accomplishes our common the Missions to serve people in more ways than one.
The COVID 19 testing clinic will be held in the parking lot of Mercy Iowa City’s Family Medicine Muscatine clinic at 2014 Cedarwood Drive in Muscatine will serve as host on Thursday, November 12 from 3-5 p.m.
This marks the sixth clinic Mercy Iowa City and Rural Health & Safety of Eastern Iowa have partnered to provide. Leaders say these mobile clinics will help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and having these resources are invaluable and stress the importance of having quality healthcare resources in more rural areas.
“We saw great success and high turnout at our previous clinics,” said Susan Elder, Clinic Operations Director at Mercy Iowa City. “We are proud to continue to offer this service in an area with another community need and we are fortunate to have the resources and support from our colleagues and Rural Health & Safety of Eastern Iowa to host an additional clinic.”
