MUSCATINE, Iowa – Crews from the Department of Public Works (DPW) are busy working through the eight city zones in the third round of the fall leaf pickup program that moved into Zone 4 Tuesday (Dec. 10). Work will progress into Zone 5 Wednesday (Dec. 11) and then into Zone 6 and 7 to complete the third round. (see map).
DPW Director Brian Stineman noted that the department has received numerous phone calls about leaves and asks for the public’s patience.
“There have been a lot of leaves come down this fall and we are doing our best to get through each zone,” Stineman said.
