AGENDA ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2017 – 5:30 P.M. CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS
1. Roll Call
2. Approval of minutes from the September 5, 2017, meeting.
3. Approval of minutes from the October 10, 2017, meeting.
4. Conditional Use Case No. 9, A request filed by Sharon Phillips of the Jesus Mission Church, to allow for the church at 509 Mulberry Church at 509 Mulberry Avenue to operate as an emergency shelter.
An emergency shelter qualifies as a Conditional Use in a C-1 Zoning District per City Code 10-11-2(I)..
5. A request by the Sino-U.S. People-to-People Exchange Center has applied to install an awning that will overhang public right of way at 129 W. 2nd Street. Per City Code Section 10-19-2 (H)(7) new signs that overhang public right-of-way shall be reviewed the Zoning Board of Adjustment followed by City Council.
